Family Plank Challenge

Challenge your family to see who can hold their plank the longest! Try on your hands or on your forearms.

Family Wall Sit Challenge

Challenge your family to see who can hold a wall sit the longest. Remember to keep your knees bent like you are sitting in an invisible chair.

Family Push up Challenge

Challenge your family to see who can do the most push ups in a row. Try push ups from your knees, from your toes, or vary the distance between your arms. 

​Family Shuttle Run Challenge

Set up two parallel lines about 10 meters apart.  Put two socks on one of the lines.  Start on the opposite line.  When the time starts sprint to the opposite line to retrieve a sock.  Sprint back to the start and drop the sock.  Turn around and retrieve the second sock and sprint back to the finish. Stop the clock after crossing the line.

See if you can complete the whole video with the coaches.

Family Burpee Challenge

Challenge your family to see who can do the most burpees in one minute.
A "burpee" is a straight jump, drop to front support and stand back up again.
For a more challenging option instead of a straight jump, try a tuck jump and add in a push up after the front support.

Stay fit and healthy with your family over the weekend.
Try to check off all the circles for each activity. 

Family Balance Challenge

Challenge your family to see who can stand on one foot the longest!  Compete to see who can hold the most creative balance, the longest balance or balance while moving your other body parts!

Challenge your family to spell their name, or pick a common word and see who can do all the moves!
Here is a common word to try: GYMNASTICS

Family Splits Challenge

Challenge your family to see who can do the splits? Try your front splits and try the middle splits too!

Backyard Handstand Challenge

Get outdoors and practice your handstands.  Find an open flat space and see if you can hold a handstand.  Challenge each other to see who can hold their handstand the longest.  Try different shapes with your legs, or see if you can walk on your hands!

7 Day Fitness Challenge

Challenge yourself with a different activity every day.
For each activity try to do 1 minute of activity with a 10 second break in between.  Repeat 5 times.

Skipping Challenge

Grab a skipping rope and get started!  Can you skip for 5 minutes with out stopping?  Give it a try!

Canadian Fitness Challenge

Workout across Canada this week! 
Each province has a different activity to try.  Can you cross the country in one day?

100 Squats Challenge

Work your way up to 100 squats in 10 days. 
Remember to only bend your knee to the degree that can still see your big toe on each foot.

V-Sit Challenge

Start by lying down flat on your back, then sit up to make a letter "V" with your body.  Grab your timer and see how many you can complete in one minute!

Dynamyx Ab Challenge

Challenge yourself to hold the hollow body position.  Can you hold it for 1 minute?  Challenge your family to see who can hold it the longest!

Long Jump Challenge

Gymnastics is a great sport for building strength and power.  Practice jumping from two feet and see how far you can go!  Challenge your family members to see who jumps the farthest.
